DARK FUNERAL: South American Tour Dates Announced

Swedish black metallers DARK FUNERAL have issued the following update:

"After the enormously successful tour in 2003, which resulted in the highly acclaimed live album, 'De Profundis Clamavi Ad Te Domine', DARK FUNERAL is once again ready to embark on tour throughout South America. This time the band will bring their full stage show (same as in Europe, plus some nice surprises). Last time the band toured South America they played Brazil, Chile and Colombia. This time the band will also hit Argentina and Mexico."

On July 27, beginning at 9:03 p.m CET, a live recording of DARK FUNERAL's set from their recent European tour (recorded by P3 Live on February 2, 2006 at Klubben in Stockholm, Sweden) will be broadcast on the Swedish national radio channel P3. The show will be streamed at www.sr.se/p3 (click on the loud speaker icon to the left next to "Just nu" which is Swedish for "right now").

DARK FUNERAL's European tour was in support of their latest album, "Attera Totus Sanctus", which is available now on Regain Records. The CD was recorded and mixed by Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, IN FLAMES, BEHEMOTH) and Örjan Örnkloo (MISERY LOVES CO.) at Dug-Out studios in Uppsala, Sweden. Mastering duties were handled by Tomas Eberger at the Cutting Room in Stockholm, Sweden. The album features a guest appearance by former MESHUGGAH bassist Gustaf Hielm.

DARK FUNERAL currently features vocalist/bassist Emperor Magnus Caligula, guitarist Lord Ahriman, guitarist Chaq Mol, and drummer Matte Modin.
